Complete setup using HP Smart
HP Easy Start will connect the printer to your computer, install print drivers, and set up scanning features (if applicable)
1. Make sure your printer is powered on
2. Install HP Smart to complete setup
To use all available printer features, you must install the HP Smart app on a mobile device or the latest version of Windows or macOS. Available on:
Set up scanning from a control panel (if applicable):
Set up additional scanning features (Windows only). Get started by selecting Install HP Easy Start above.
Note: To scan from a macOS computer, install the HP Smart app.
HP Easy Start software will run on Windows 7 with Service Pack 1 only. If needed, update your operating system to automatically get Service Pack 1. HP values that updated operating systems offer our users increased security and privacy protection.
